Square footage is broken down in increments and is selected via the dropdown provided for this field. - Keywords
The "Keywords" field should be used to search for amenities like fireplace, garage, etc. - Open House Events and Auctions
The checkboxes for "Open House Events" and "Auctions" can be selected to narrow down the search results to include ONLY these options. - Photos and Video only

The "Sort By" feature allows the results to be sorted by Price and Distance. From the Display dropdown, select how many listings per page you would like to view.
Properties for Rent
Searching for a rental property is similar to our for sale search. The Quick Search form is the same except you have to enter a monthly rent instead of the price.
More Search Options is modified, reflecting conditions of the rental market. Select the Property Type, Square Footage, enter a keyword and select a checkbox for properties with photo and/or properties with video.
One additional rentals only field is Allow Pets. This dropdown allows the rental seeker to specify if there is a preference for the results to display properties that allow pets.
Search Preferences are the same for properties for sale and properties for rent.

Saved Searches and Email Alerts
If you know what type of property you are looking for, you can save your search criteria so that you don't have to create the same search every time you want to run it. For each saved search you can create an e-mail alert which will automatically run the saved search and conveniently deliver the results to your inbox. The saved searches page displays all the property and agent searches and alerts that you have saved.
Create a saved search and e-mail alerts
To create a saved search and an e-mail alert, you have to run a search first, see the Search Section. Simply enter all your property criteria and click the search button. When you are viewing the search results, click the Create a Saved Search button at the top of the page. Since you have the option to create numerous searches, each saved search has to have a unique name. Type in the name of the search in the space provided and move to the e-mail search alert options.
E-mail search alerts are system generated searches based on your criteria and sent to you regularly via email so that you don't have to keep coming back to the site to see if new properties matching your criteria have been put on the market. You can select how often you want to receive these e-mail search alerts. After you are done filling in the information, click the save button. You will start receiving your e-mail search alerts shortly.
Note: If you would like to save a search but you do not want to keep getting email alerts, set the alert frequency to Never.

Saved Properties
No Saved Properties
When you first create an account you will have no saved searches. When you visit the Manage your Saved Searches for the first time you will get a message "You have no Saved Property Searches at this time" and a button New Search will show at the bottom of the page which will allow you to conduct a new search that can be saved or set as an automated E-mail alert.
Creating a Saved Property
Once you have viewed the Listing Details page you will see a link at the top of the screen to Save Property. After you have saved a property you will have access to that saved property by clicking on the Saved Properties tab or the link "View your Saved Properties" within the Searching section on the Members page.
Your Saved Properties
Your Saved Properties folder will hold all properties that you have saved during your search. The initial page when you arrive at your saved properties gives you the basic information about each property: Price, Picture, BD, BA, Location, Date Posted, and the Brokerage. Within your "Saved Properties" folder you can organize the properties as you see fit. The saved ads will stay in your account until you delete them. If the seller decides to take the ad offline, the ad will remain in your account with a note stating that this ad is no longer valid. We recommend you delete these ads to keep your account up to date.
To view the detail page of your saved properties simply click on either the Price or the Picture for that particular ad. Your ads can also be sorted by utilizing the dropdown located above the "Brokerage" column. The default is to sort by "Date Posted". However, you have the options of also sorting by "Brokerage" and "Price." Simply select the desired sorting method from the dropdown and click on the Sort button.
